The synthesis of the SrFe12O19 nanocomposites was performed using a combustion technique. Rare- earth metal La was doped into SrFe12O19 using urea and citric acid mixtures as dual fuel. Varying the percentage of La in SrFe12O19 yielded different results. XRD images confirmed the crystalline structure of the sample. Spectroscopic characterizations were performed using FTIR, SEM, XRD and UV-Vis techniques. The cyclic voltammetry revealed a well defined oxidation peak corresponding to electrochemical oxidation of Glucose. The magnetic parameters of the strontium ferrites increased due to effects of size, shape, composition, coercivity and shell core structure. FTIR, SEM and XRD studies confirmed the presence of functional groups.
