Metal phosphate nanomaterials are the major class of compounds having extensive applications. Lithium Vanadium Phosphate (LiVP) was synthesized by the chemical combustion method, and the particle size was 38.24 nm in diameter. The prepared LiVP nanomaterial was confirmed by XRD, UV- DRS, FTIR, SEM and EDAX spectroscopic methods. LiVP showed very good catalytic activity towards photocatalytic decomposition of Congo Red dye, which is used in textile industries. The Congo Red dye showed 90% decomposition under UV light. The dye degraded water and distilled water show similar effects on the ecological system, which is confirmed by plant growth
